On 4 January 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic Aurelia Bouchez.

The sides discussed the current issues on the Uzbekistan-France agenda. They considered the progress of implementing of the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of France Emmanuel Macron to Uzbekistan in November 2023.

Deputy Minister and Ambassador also reviewed the schedule of upcoming joint contacts in 2024, including the next session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and the 15th round of political consultations.
